The Role

We are a very well-established medium sized firm looking for a new member of our Construction team who will grow and develop as part of our expansion.

As the Junior Project Manager, you will work along side the Construction team and assist in coordinating site activities and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and clients. You will develop efficient processes and innovate with new ideas and thinking. You will have the potential to become the company’s Construction Manager.

 

The Tasks and Responsibilities

Coordinate multiple sites

Manage all subcontractors work and schedule

Manage the delivery of goods to locations

Ensure all safety aspects are applied

Ensure site schedules, deadlines and budgets are met

Monitor and report on-site progress

Quality assurance of Hasbuilt standards

Maintain relationships with subcontractors and clients

 

The Skills and Requirements

At least 2-3 years of experience in construction management or site supervision

Construction certificate/degree

Experience in managing subcontractors

Ability to problem solve and multitask

Understand structural drawings and contract documents

At least 12 months in a Commercial Sales role

Strong attention to details

Experience with tenders

As the Office Manager, you will work alongside our Managing Director to manage the daily business operations of the company.

You will develop key strategies to increase efficiency in daily operations and productivity amongst staff whilst over seeing a small team.   

The Tasks and Responsibilities

Office Management 

Ensure office premise is a collaborative place to work and that the office and     its rooms are clean, tidy and well maintained. When needed, liaise with building management, cleaners, and other suppliers.

Upkeep of office and kitchen appliances and equipment

Enforce adherence to requirements and filing reports

Create and maintain office stock and inventory list, seat plans etc

Monitoring, purchasing, and organizing office and kitchen supplies

Keep a record of access key issuance/ lost cards etc

Management of company mailbox and the office management drive

Manage staff arrivals and lateness.

 

Reception

Main point of contact to Building Security/Access Control

Attend to visitors (offering drinks etc.)

Organise deliveries including making sure someone is in the office to receive delivery

Sending and receiving mails/parcels and delivery/courier/PO Box management

 

HR Support

Issuance of access card/business cards, asset register, preparation of new starters     induction pack and workstations

Maintain employee personal files and records

Interview candidates for available jobs within company

Generating new starter letter of offers, induction packs, assist with recruitment

Coordinate company activities/team building events/Christmas Party, training sessions     and catering for client meetings/staff events

Maintaining records for First Aid and fire wardens and relevant training completion

Maintain policies and procedures

Maintain Job Descriptions

Manage IT setup including signatures, login details for software and maintaining     the register

Organising gifts or awards to be sent to employees or external parties

 

Business Administrative Support

Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Manage the calendar and coordinate appointments for the Director

Assist team with daily duties and operational tasks

 

The Skills and Requirements

You are an experienced Office Manager with at least two years administrative and human resource experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills

High level attention to detail

Proven ability in small team leadership
